Michael Chikeka holds a post-graduate degree in Accountancy, member Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (IIASA) . Member, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) SA. A registered South African Training Assessor with the FASSET .
Michael Chikeka is a qualified registered assessor with FASSET (SETA for Finance, Accounting, Management Consulting and Other financial Services). He is qualified for the assessment and facilitation of the professional accountancy qualification Programme for THE ASSOCIATION OF CHARTERED CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANT, (A.C.C.A), NQF levels 5 -7, and for the assessment and facilitation of THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNAL AUDITORS SOUTH AFRICA (IIASA) Qualification Programme NQF level 5, 6 , 7. And for the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) qualification programme, NQF levels 3-7.
A Certifed Accountant and a Registered Business Accountant in practicing of the Southern African Institute for Business Accounting(SAIBA) a registered Tax practitioner and a member of the South African Institute of Tax Professional (SAIT).
Michael has a wealth of experience in the application of accountancy as well as corporate training. Michael began his career with International Risk Control Africa (IRCA) (a subsidiary of GLENRAND M.I.B) as the senior accountant.
Michael having gained industry knowledge and being passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience then took the decision to join corporate and educational training.
Michael has been offering training to big industries as well as educational groups, trains part-time for the Boston Business College to accounting students preparing for their professional examination of The Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA), corporate trains for The College of Production Technology, The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), The University of South Africa, and The Vaal University of Science and Technology, Johannesburg.
Michael Chikeka has facilitated and conducted corporate training for the executives of these company’s, Ford Motor Manufacturing Company of South Africa, South African Breweries, Assa Ablloy, Minova Cementation Mining, Portland Cement Company, Retail Motor Industry, CHI Controls, GBG, BTM, Power and Telecommunication Cable Manufacturing Company, Public Administration Leadership and Management Academy (PALAMA), Boston City Campus, University of South Africa, TSW, College of Production Technology.
Michael worked as a financial Analyst, with the Taleb Group, Doha, State of Qatar, Middle East, for a year. As such has gained international work exposure. He served as The Project Manager, Mpumalanga Economic Empowerment Corporation, well vast in International/Political Economy.
